Gizmo offers free call to other Gizmo users and free landline calls to landline and mobile phones over 60 countries. Gizmo software is free to use and easy to install.
To call people on their landline or mobile phones over destinations that are not free, you have to purchase credit for a service called Call Out.
3. VoiceCheap
Unlike Skype, VoiceCheap will allow you to make free phone calls to regular phone line. VoiceCheap software is free to download and easy to use.
Voipcheap will track your IP address at the time of registration. for e.g you are registering from USA or UK, the Id will enable you to make FREE calls since these countries fall under the FREE calls Beta version promotion by Voipcheap.
4. Windows Live Messenger
PC to PC calls are free between MSN Messenger users. MSN Messenger is free to download and it’s friendlier to use for windows user. However you can not make call to landline number using your computer.
5. Yahoo! Voice
You can make free PC to PC calls between active Yahoo! Voice users. Since there are already so many Yahoo! IM users, this may be a great place to begin experimenting with VoIP technology.
6. Google Talk
Google Talk offers free PC to PC calls between Google Talk users. Google Talk is free to download and interface is user friendly.
